Welcome to the Integrated Arts page!  In this class students will explore their creative side through music, movement, visual and theater arts.

Kindergarten, First and Second Grade classes learn basic movement, music and visual arts skills.

Third through Sixth Grade students learn applied music skills in singing, keyboards, recorders and guitars.  The fifth and sixth grade students also learn basic composing and recording skills.  In Theater Arts the students produce puppet shows or plays. They also explore many areas in visual arts.

    Sculpture Projects
    Older students researched sculpture and created abstract sculptures out of plaster of paris, while the primary grades created salt dough creatures during the month of January.

    Sculpting with plaster of paris was a fun and messy project!  We started with a "blob" of semi-dry plaster in a baggie, and, over the course of 2 classes, turned it into a work of art.  If you stop by school, you will see evidence of our research and pictures of our sculptures!
