| Every school in the St. Paul School District
has a committee comprised of members of the school staff and community
who work collaboratively to improve student achievement. These
committees are called site councils.
Site councils have a variety of roles and responsibilities, among them to:
- help shape and support the school's mission;
- help develop the School Continuous Improvement Plan (SCIP);
- drive school change and develop conditions for success;
- have input into the selection of school staff and principal;
- help plan and prioritize the school's budget.
The Eastern Heights School Site Council meets every fourth Tuesday of the month at 4:15 p.m. in the school Media Center. Visitors are welcome to attend council meetings and offer suggestions and ideas. If
you would like to get an item on the agenda at a future site council
meeting, please contact Jayne Ropella one week prior to scheduled
meetings. We welcome your thoughts.
