I am excited to be back at Eastern Heights for another year. This year I have an intern from the College of St Catherine. Her name is Ronika Stibbens. The social work position is three days this year and with Ronika being here we will have social work services available four days a week. We will be working with many students in all grades this year. We will do a lot of play therapy, working on the skills of sharing and turn taking. We will also be reinforcing rules and expectations in the classroom. We do role playing and social skills activities such as games and crafts with the kids. I am available if you have questions regarding special education services I provide or if you need help linking to community resources. I have loads of community resources for a variety of needs. I look forward to another fun year working with you and your families.
