Degrees and Certifications:
I grew up in St. Paul. I graduated from Winona State University with a teaching license for pre-k through 6th grade. I have been married for 33 years and have 2 grown children. I love the outdoors. During my free time I enjoy walking, hiking and biking.
I taught second grade for 8 years at St. Bernard’s Grade School. I left full time teaching to stay home with my children. During that time I was fortunate to be a casual substitute teacher for the SPPS District for 15 years. Then I was hired to teach second grade at Franklin Music Magnet. I then got hired to teach pre-k at Eastern Heights. This is my 8th year here and I couldn’t be happier. I love this age group because they are loving and are excited about learning. I am amazed at what they are capable of doing.
When the children are in my classroom I want them to feel welcomed, safe and respected.
I am available to talk before or after school.
