Dayton's Bluff Elementary is one of three Achievement Plus schools in Saint Paul that provides families with school, recreation and community services. Achievement Plus is part of a private-public partnership including the Saint Paul Public Schools, Wilder Foundation, City of Saint Paul, Ramsey County and the State of Minnesota.
Our richly diverse neighborhood school is next to the Dayton’s Bluff Recreation Center on St. Paul’s East Side. Students at our school are encouraged by staff to ask questions, solve problems and discover how things work. Our math and reading coach helps students understand their skill level and learn how to monitor their academic growth. With classes in science, social studies, art and physical education, each child receives a full day of learning through core academics and other activities. As an Achievement Plus school, Dayton’s Bluff works with dedicated volunteers and community partners to bring dental services, mental health services, and housing and employment assistance right to our families. A nurse, social worker, and counselor as well as speech and occupational therapy services are also available to students and families on site.
