| Home Reading Program |  | I am sending home a reading chart with your child that I would you to fill out during the week. Please have your child read to you or read to him/her every night for 20 minutes, then have him/her tell you about what was read. This habit is very important in your child's growth as a reader and learner.
Please keep the reading chart in your child's home folder so that s/he can turn it in each Monday morning. Each child who turns in twenty charts (at least five entries on each chart) at the end of the school year will participate in a special activity at the end of the school.
