MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of the Physical Education program is to provide a variety of physical activities to help all students acquire knowledge, skills, and positive attitudes toward self and others that will enable them to maintain a health and fitness level to function effectively in today's society.
MEET THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER
Hi! My name is Ms. Barbara Farley and I am the Physical Education teacher here at Eastern Heights Elementary. My goals as a teacher are to impress upon children the importance of making healthy lifestyle choices and to teach children how to get, and stay in shape. It is also my goal to teach kids a variety of skills, and importantly to have a lot of fun.
MANAGEMENT GOALS
I work on increasing the motivation of students to become and maintain a more physically sound mind and body and to aid in their development of self-managing skills. In addition, I incorporate, each day, ways to build community amongst my students. Therefore we take time to talk and share when things go well and when things don't go so well.

| | | | | FITNESS TEAM INFORMATION | | ALL 4TH, 5TH, & 6TH GRADERS SHOULD HAVE A 25 DAY FITNESS CALENDAR AND CURRENTLY BE WORKING ON THEM. THE CALENDER SHOULD BE TURNED IN AS SOON AS THE STUDENT HAS FINISHED. THE CALENDER SHOULD ONLY TAKE "25" DAYS. HAPPY EXERCISING. ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE SEE MS. FARLEY. |
