Eastern Heights SCIP Goals:
-Provide multi-tiered for tier 1, 2, and 3 students who are at benchmark or above, as well as below target range.
-In order to decrease the achievement gap at Eastern Heights, professional development for staff in racial equity and student engagement is essential.
-Eastern Heights will increase reading proficiency scores by providing multi-tiered supports for tier 1, 2, 3 students who are at benchmark or above as well as below target range.
Title One Funds
Most of the Title One funds are spent for students who need extra help and for the support staff including:
Academic Support Specialist
Funds are used to increase parent involvement and support for our families including:
Communication efforts and conferences
Support for increased participation in the Eastern Heights community
Family Engagement Plan
Parent survey to gain input for the next year’s plan Annual Title One meeting.
Parent /Teacher conferences are scheduled for both daytime and evening.
Parent Involvement Events will be held at a variety of times throughout the school year; some in the afternoon and others in the evening.
